King’s offers an exclusive programme of careers support for students from underrepresented backgrounds in Higher Education.

Careers+ provides careers related activities and support for UK domiciled undergraduate students from underrepresented groups in Higher Education. Careers+ addresses the needs of underrepresented students currently studying or who have graduated from King's within the last two years, supporting them to achieve lifelong success.

The Careers+ programme includes extended careers guidance appointments, exclusive career topic and employer workshops & events, exclusive work experience & internship opportunities, mentoring and newsletters.

You are eligible to apply for the Careers+ programme if you are an undergraduate, UK domiciled King’s student and meet one or more of the following criteria:

• In receipt of the King's Living Bursary
• Care experienced, young carer, estranged student or forced migrant
• First in family to go to university (First generation)
• Black, Asian and Diverse Heritage students
• Student with disabilities including neurodivergent students and those with mental health conditions. (Please see more information on disability inclusion on our internal KEATS pages for current students)
• From Gypsy, Roma, or Traveller heritages
• Mature learner doing a first degree
• Taken part in the Realising Opportunities, K+, or Sutton Trust Summer School WP programmes
• Holder of the Sanctuary Scholarship/Jesus the Light Sanctuary Scholarship
• On the Extended Medical Degree Programme or the Enhanced Support Dentistry Programme
• In receipt of a means-tested NHS bursary
