Applicants who require a student visa are required to submit details of their academic documents for verification through the Qualification Check portal at King's Qualification Check website
Here, your awarding institution will verify your qualification, and confirmation will be shared with both you and King’s.
You will be contacted via King’s Apply regarding next steps in your application once your verified qualifications have been reviewed.
Each institution has its own verification procedures; the information and documents required to complete a verification will be listed when you select the relevant institution on your Qualification Check portal.
Qualification Check is a well-established GDPR-compliant company that specialises in the verification of academic and professional qualifications globally. They offer the quickest and easiest way for international applicants to verify their credentials. For details on the verification procedure, kindly contact Qualification Check at the application support email address
Notes:
Please register to verify your qualifications by entering your details at King's Qualification Check website.
Check your inbox for an e-mail from: do-not-reply@qualificationcheck.com with the subject line: “Verify your QualificationCheck.com Registration”. Follow the link and create your password to complete login.
Once logged in, please complete your Application Details.
Please note that your ‘Unique ID Number’ is your King’s Student Number which can be found on the Applicant Overview page of your King’s Apply account, and on the top of your offer letter.
Once completed, you will then need to choose the level of qualification you need to verify. Select “Education” if you are applying for a Postgraduate course, and “High School” for Undergraduate.
You will then be instructed to type the name of the institution that awarded your qualification (e.g. the institution that issued your qualification). As you type a list of institutions will appear at the bottom. Click on the name of the institution where you studied.
You must enter your individual details (name and date of birth) as they appear on your qualification. You must then enter the requisite qualification details as instructed on the portal.
Scroll down to the Documents section. Below the “Institute Consent Form” click where it says “Download & Sign”. This will open a consent form document. Please complete and sign the form then upload by clicking on the ‘Upload’ button below where it says Institute Consent Form. E-signature is accepted.
If the institution requires additional documentation for the verification, please upload a PDF version to the portal to be submitted.
A screen will pop-up asking you to confirm whether you have submitted all relevant qualifications to be verified. If you have, click on the “Yes, submit & complete application” button. Please be assured that there is no cost for this.
Qualification Check will verify your qualification directly with the awarding institution. Please be patient as this can take time as they check their records.
Once your qualification has been verified you will receive an email to notify you.
Your verification result will be automatically shared with King’s College London, who will contact you via the King’s Apply portal with the next steps.
If you get stuck, click on the button at the bottom right of the King's Qualification Check website page and type your query in the chat.
Alternatively, you can reach out to the Qualification Check team directly through the following email address: applicantsupport@qualificationcheck.com.
To submit a verification request, you must first create an online account at kcl.qualificationcheck.com. Once you have completed the two-step registration process, you will have access to your online account.
Search for the name of the institution at which you obtained your qualification(s) and follow the steps to enter the required information for submission of a verification request. Your details will then be sent to the institution at which you studied to be authenticated by the appropriate department.
If you are unable to find your institution in the system, please refine your search by adding filters such as the country in which it is located. The search bar uses key words to locate the institution, so perhaps try entering different parts of the university name to find it e.g. for King’s College London, you may search for “King’s” or “London”. If you are still unable to find your institution, please email the Qualification Check team through the application support email address
We understand that applications are urgent and make every effort to expedite processes as quickly as we can. Continue to check the online platform for updates on your verifications to track its progress. Please note some institutions may take longer than others, but rest assured that Qualification Check is working hard to complete your verification.
You may use the live chat function for further details on the status of the verification or contact the Qualification Check team through the application support email address
