Module lists for the next academic year can be found under the 'Teaching & Structure' Section of the page.
The Department is a part of the largest concentration of scholars in the field of politics, public policy and international studies in Europe, with over 150 scholars. Our teaching and research recognises that the disciplines of Politics and Economics are inextricably linked.
Our teaching is facilitated by an internationally recognised team of experts; our central government-partnered modules bring together practitioners, such as Tony Blair, David Cameron and more. We have partnerships with organisations such as the UK Foreign & Commonwealth Office, HM Treasury, the Governments of India and Brazil and the United Nations.
Through our courses, we aim to train the next generation of leaders in scholarship, government, business, diplomacy, journalism and public affairs—people who will be prepared to consider fresh perspectives on political ideas, institutions, processes and challenges.
