Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona, commonly known as UAB, led the Spanish universities in the 2013/14 QS World Rankings and was voted the 9th best university under 50 years old in 2013. UAB annually welcomes almost 2000 international exchange students onto its Bellaterra campus, located just 25 minutes from the heart of Barcelona. The university offers modules taught in English and a range of campus based initiatives to help students explore new horizons through study and extra-curricular participation.
