About the Institution
Founded in 1858, Keio is Japan’s first modern institution of higher learning. Over the last century and a half it has established itself as a leader in Japan through its continued commitment to education, research and medicine.
Campus allocation
The university hosts over 33,500 students in six campuses spread across the Greater Tokyo area and offers more than 180 courses in English. Keio is also one of the 3 Campus Programme host universities.
