Beijing Normal University is a key university directly under the Ministry of Education of China. It is a comprehensive, research-oriented and famous Chinese institution leading in teacher education. The school has a long history of more than 120 years and profound cultural heritage. It is the founder of modern higher education in China. The comprehensive strength of Beijing Normal University’s disciplines ranks among the top universities in the country offering twelve disciplines including philosophy, education, psychology, Chinese language and literature, foreign languages and literature, Chinese history, mathematics, geography, systems science, ecology, environmental science and engineering and drama and film and television. The number of selected subjects ranks among the top universities in the country.

Students can still apply for the programme, but should take this into consideration when completing their application. If you wish to apply for a place on Beijing Normal University Summer Programme, you will need to submit your Global Summer Exchange application by Sunday 23rd February 2025 before 11:59pm. If your application is successful, you will be provided with information on how to apply directly to Beijing Normal University, once your nomination has been confirmed with them.
