King’s in Spring photography competition winners announced

Congratulations to Wendy Fernandes, a student at the Faculty of Life Sciences & Medicine (FOLSM) on Strand campus and staff member Liz Morrow at the Institute of Psychiatry, Psychology & Neuroscience at Denmark Hill Campus for winning the King’s in Spring photography competition

The competition, which was launched by Professor Shitij Kapur in April, saw a huge number of staff and students submit photos of our campuses in spring, showcasing all the beauty King’s has to offer.

We'd also like to extend our congratulations to our second and third place student winners, Sahar Afreen and Zhikun Li, as well as our second and third place staff winners, Truc Pham and Adil Khan, respectively. Additionally, a big shoutout to our four commendations.

An enormous thank you and well done to all those who took part in our second ‘King’s in Spring’ photography competition. Your images were a picturesque celebration of the beauty of King’s campuses as seen through the eyes of our staff and students. A special congratulations to our six winners and to our runners up!– Professor Shitij Kapur, Vice-Chancellor and President

Wendy Fernandes - 1st prize

Liz Morrow - 1st prize

Liz Morrow works at the NIHR Maudsley Biomedical Research Centre within the Institute of Psychology, Psychiatry & Neuroscience (IoPPN). This photo was taken at our campus at Denmark Hill.

Truc Pham - 2nd prize 

Truc Pham works within the Faculty of Life Sciences & Medicine. This photo was taken at our St Thomas Campus.
