The South London Diabetes Patient Public Involvement Group was formed over 10 years ago and consists of people with Type 1 and Type 2 diabetes. The group is sponsored by the Clinical Research Network.

The group invites researchers to present their current research, or idea for research, for feedback. Feedback can include:

• Development of diabetes-related research
• Document review, including lay summaries
• Project specific PPI/E across the entire research process

Researchers should be willing and able to present their research so that it can be easily understood, and come with specific questions for the group. We encourage researchers to come back to the group to provide an update on funding or research progress. It would be ideal if researchers could contribute to the costs of involvement for the group members.
