Research Governance Office
Provides advice and guidance on research data management and regulations.
The department is led by Director of Research Governance, Ethics and Integrity, Miss Marice Lunny, with senior academic guidance provided by the Dean of Research Culture, Professor Tim Newton.
The teams within our department are committed to enabling the good and proper conduct of research and researchers. We support the King’s research community to ensure that all research conducted is safe, lawful, and of the highest standards of integrity and rigour.
These standards are based on certain principles and professional responsibilities that are central to the protection of the research community, research participants, and the reputation of King’s. Our aim is to ensure public trust in the research that we produce.
Our department provides training and guidance to all research-active staff and students on matters related to research governance, research ethics, research integrity and international regulations, and we develop and monitor relevant policies and procedures to support our research community. More information is available on our training page.
