King’s offers three accelerators to support students, researchers and staff to launch a spinout or startup. Each accelerator has a competitive application process.

King’s Start-Up Accelerator

This 12-month accelerator is offered by King’s Entrepreneurship Institute to future startup founders across King’s who own their own intellectual property.

King’s Spinout Accelerator

King’s Entrepreneurship Institute also runs this 12-month spinout programme dedicated to supporting the translation of inventions, born from ground-breaking research across King’s College London.

King’s MedTech Accelerator

King’s MedTech Accelerator is a six-month part-time programme run by the London Institute for Healthcare Engineering for aspiring entrepreneurs in medical devices, including medical software and AI.

MedTech Venture Builder

London Institute for Healthcare Engineering’s MedTech Venture Builder is a 12-month programme that helps accelerate the translation of promising medical technologies into robust, investment-ready healthcare ventures.

The programme is open to King’s College London’s community, as well as Queen Mary University of London, City University of London and St George's University of London.
