Our primary mission in the Industry Research Partnerships Office is to support King’s researchers to expand the real-world impact of their research through engagement with industry collaborations, exchanges and funding.

Collaborating with industry can take many forms for King’s researchers, including:

• Partnering with industry in applications for public and innovation funding schemes or consortia.
• Leading research collaborations at King’s funded by industry.
• Access to industry expertise, bespoke facilities, resources or infrastructure.
• Opportunities for secondments or placements in an industry setting.
• Funding for PhD studentships and Cooperative Awards in Science and Engineering (CASE) awards.
• Developing innovation skills through grants or schemes.
• Participation into external scientific events, advisory panels and mentoring schemes hosted with industry, and vice versa.
