King's Innovation Catalyst
Your gateway to innovation at King’s.
King's Innovation Catalyst engages with potential industry collaborators – from small to medium sized enterprises (SMEs) to multinationals - in all research areas and stages of innovation development. We coordinate support to industry partners and King’s researchers, helping to achieve common goals. By stimulating creative exchanges, we help translate research output into marketable products.
King’s College London ranks 6th in the UK for research ‘power’ and hosts world-class research facilities across its five campuses in central London. We’ve built partnerships with key London institutions, including the Francis Crick Institute, Europe’s leading biomedical research institute. Alongside King’s Health Partners, we’re also the largest healthcare training partner in Europe, with three teaching hospitals totalling 4.8 million patient contacts per year and 600 clinical trials at any one time.
A broad range of perspectives inform King’s research and its strong culture of innovation. From patients to local communities, industry and international business to national governments, our work has laid the foundations for long-term partnerships. These include the Unilever King's Biosciences Innovation Hub and the UCB Hub at King’s.
We’re open to different forms of collaboration, including sharing expertise and facilities, conducting clinical trials and sponsoring fellowships.
