King’s College London holds an Impact Acceleration Account (IAA) awarded by the Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council (EPSRC). This award allows us to provide support for researchers to transfer ideas and technologies developed from previous EPSRC-funded grants out into society.

Part of the funding is used to support our internal funding scheme, the Advancing Impact Awards. King's staff can access guidance and application information for our EPSRC Advancing Impact Award via this link.

How are organisations outside King’s involved?

As part of the King’s IAA, researchers have been working closely with business, clinical, and end-user partner organisations, funded by the internal award schemes.

King’s College London is always open to striking new partnerships, as well as strengthening existing ones. The IAA is one way that successful project collaboration in the areas of science, mathematics and engineering can be supported.

If your business is seeking to engage with King’s researchers for the first time, please visit our 'Work with King's' page.
