Our group focuses on epidemiological methodologies and applications in public health and health services research including using electronic health records to evaluate public health interventions (public health trials), developing and applying chronic disease register methodology (South London Stroke Register (SLSR)) to study stroke epidemiology over time, multimorbidity research and methodology using longitudinal population-based primary care data (Lambeth DataNet (LDN)), and investigating social and ethnic inequalities in health using community-based participatory methods and systems perspectives. The main areas of application are in stroke, ageing, obesity, chronic disease prevention, antimicrobial utilisation, multimorbidity, rehabilitation, and social and ethnic inequalities in health.
