Contractors and Consultants (asbestos and legionella safety)
This page hosts Management Plans for Asbestos and Legionella that apply to work by contractors and consultants working for King’s College London.
Asbestos Management
It is the ultimate long term aim of the College to have a fully asbestos safe working environment.
In the interim, the College has a structured, risk based approach to the management and control of asbestos containing materials (ACMs) within its property portfolio to reduce the risk to its lowest practical level.
The Asbestos Management Plan outlines how this aim is to be achieved.

Legionella Management
The College has a Legionella Management Plan in order to fulfil the requirements and obligations under current legislation and to provide the means from which exposure to legionella bacteria can be prevented.
