Biography
Zhiwen Zhong is a PhD student in the Department of Chemistry and Department of Physics, King's College London.
Before joining King's, Zhiwen earned his MSc in Molecular Biology from the University of Science and Technology of China (USTC) and completed his BSc in Biology Technology at Anhui University.
Research interests
His research focuses on developing precise protein-protein interaction models at the atomic level through molecular dynamics simulations. This approach aims to unveil the molecular mechanisms behind protein complex formation, providing crucial insights into biological processes and potential applications in drug discovery.
Zhiwen is also deeply interested in cutting-edge technologies like AlphaFold2 and machine learning, which complement his research efforts.
