Biography:

Zeinab Hendawi is a passionate Arabic lecturer and researcher. She holds a BA in English Literature from the University of Aleppo( Syria) and a MA of Education in TASOL from Universal American University, California, USA. Additionally, she has a TASOL Certificate from Education Canada College, Montreal. Ms Hendawi has extensive experience in teaching Arabic in the Higher Education sector, educational institutions, government organisations and companies locally and internationally. She is highly skilled in designing curriculums at all levels, effective classroom management and course development in both MSA and Arabic dialects. Ms Hendawi is interested in the theories and the practices of Arabic language pedagogy, motivation in foreign language education and intercultural studies. Zeinab particularly enjoys organising cultural events relating to the arts, music, cuisine and festivals. She joined King's College London in the beginning of 2024.
