Biography
Yuko Hasegawa-Arango holds an MEd in TEFL from the University of Bristol, and a Certificate in TEFL to secondary school students, which she earned in Japan. She has extensive experience teaching Japanese and designing courses for UK Universities. Before joining the King’s College London in 2020, she taught Japanese at the University of Bristol. As Deputy Team Leader, she manages the team and coordinates Japanese courses across King's Language Centre programmes. Yuko serves as an external examiner at Imperial College London, has presented at BATJ conferences, organised numerous workshops, and is a committee member for the annual Japanese Speech Contest.
