Biography

Tim is a former special adviser and journalist who worked in and around Westminster for 15 years.

In government, he worked as a media adviser and strategist in Downing Street and across several departments. He advised Sajid Javid at HM Treasury between 2019 and 2020, including working on the 2019 General Election campaign. He returned to Government in November 2021, working for Thérèse Coffey at the Department for Work and Pensions during the Johnson government, and then at the Department of Health and Social Care under Truss. He also supported Dr Coffey's work as Deputy Prime Minister.

A journalist by trade and training, Tim worked in the Westminster lobby for a decade, including as Deputy Political Editor of the MailOnline between 2015 and 2019, and as Parliamentary Editor of the Press Association news wire from 2011. He started his journalism career in the local press.
