
Biography
Dr Sue Freeman (MRCP, FRCR) was appointed as a Consultant Radiologist in Cambridge University Hospitals (CUH) in 2008. She became the lead radiologist for the gynaecology imaging service in 2012. CUH is a tertiary referral centre for gynae-oncology for the East of England. It is also an accredited endometriosis centre and a centre for the treatment of mesh complications.
Her clinical and research interests include: the role of MRI in the staging and treatment stratification of cervical and endometrial tumours, the role of CT / MRI / DWI in ovarian cancer in diagnosis, staging and treatment response, the role of US /MRI in the management of endometriosis.
Sue Freeman has authored and co-authored numerous journal articles on female pelvic imaging and several book chapters for both gynaecology and radiology textbooks. She has a passion for teaching and has delivered numerous invited lectures in gynaecological imaging in the UK and Europe. She has co-organised several national and international teaching courses and workshops.
