
Biography
Sophia Worth is a first year PhD student in Computer Science, part of the UKRI-funded Centre for Doctoral Training in Safe and Trusted AI in the Department of Informatics at KCL. Her research focuses on understanding the barriers to ethical data practices, and the implications for developing tools and approaches for improved practice. Prior to her PhD Sophia worked across the research and policy teams at the Open Data Institute, where she continues to work on their data-centric AI programme alongside her PhD research.
Sophia has previously completed an MSc in Human Geography at UCL where she focused on environmental data governance and climate change, and a BSc in Liberal Arts and Sciences where she graduated as a Sciences major. She is currently a member of the The King's Institute for Artificial Intelligence.
