Biography
Sonia graduated as a dietitian in Spain. Some years later she moved to London where she worked as a community dietitian in a number of NHS Trusts. In 2010 Sonia pursued a change in career and started working as a Data Manager in a Phase I Clinical Trials Unit at The Institute of Cancer Research. She then became a Trial Coordinator and ended up leading the Trial Coordination team. In 2017 Sonia would move to the Biomedical Research Centre where she became a Clinical Trials Manager and would start managing and supporting a variety of trials alongside the Chief Investigators. Currently, Sonia manages a range of observational and interventional trials across different therapeutical areas, including a project in the epigenome of semen, and a randomised clinical trial in Gestational Diabetes Mellitus.
