Biography

Sonia Koller is a Lecturer in Entrepreneurship/Innovation at King’s Business School. Sonia's research explores how entrepreneurs make decisions during the new venture creation process. Her research sits at the intersection between the cognitive sciences, psychology, and entrepreneurship. It seeks to understand how entrepreneurs adapt to different decisions and environments they encounter when founding new ventures.

Her research has attracted funding from the UK Government’s Industrial Strategy Fund, through the Economic and Social Research Council. She regularly publishes her research in leading academic journals such as the Journal of Business Venturing, Applied Psychology: An International Review and Personality and Individual Differences.

She holds a PhD in Psychology of Entrepreneurship from University College London. Sonia has previously helped companies such as HireVue and RedBull develop innovative, technology-based psychometric assessments used in job selection and recruitment.
