Amy Tickle

Amy is a Cancer Research UK-funded PhD student in the Cancer Prevention Group, supervised by Professor Peter Sasieni. Prior to starting her PhD at King's, Amy completed her MSc in Epidemiology at Imperial College London, where she gained research experience in cancer epidemiology and prevention. During her PhD, she will be investigating progress in early cancer diagnosis and reducing cancer mortality, both locally and nationally. Her work will also focus on producing robust and timely metrics to monitor this progress over time and compare progress between countries.

Charlotte Kelley Jones

Charlotte Kelley Jones is a postgraduate research (PGR) student within the Faculty of Life Sciences & Medicine and School of Cancer & Pharmaceutical Sciences. Charlotte has a background in behavioural science and health psychology. Her doctoral research focuses on the acceptability of incorporating risk stratification within the NHS Breast Screening Programme.

Hannah Drysdale

Hannah has an MSc in Psychology from Birkbeck and joins the Cancer Prevention Group with research experience in cervical cancer screening. Hannah is currently working on a Cancer Research UK funded PhD research project which assesses socio-economic differences in cervical screening barriers and preferences. In particular, Hannah's work will explore variation in attitudes towards various screening options including self-sampling and non-speculum clinician sampling across socio-economic groups. She hopes to develop an intervention to maximise screening uptake in low socioeconomic groups.

Annie Lincoln

Annie Lincoln is a post graduate research (PGR) student within the Faculty of Life Sciences & Medicine and School of Cancer & Pharmaceutical Sciences with a doctoral fellowship from King’s College London. Annie has a background in hereditary cancer clinical research and has extended this interest into her post-graduate studies. As part of graduate research, she will be looking at faecal immunochemistry testing (FIT) screening in a UK population of Lynch Syndrome patients.
