Biography

Siham Memdouh is a final year Ph.D. student in the Department of Analytical & Environmental Sciences, working under the supervision of Dr. Vincenzo Abbate, Dr. Ivana Gavrilović, and Professor David Cowan. Part of her research is related to the detection of GHRH synthetic analogues in urine samples from sports competitors. She is also investigating the loss of insulins from biological matrices to improve future forensic and anti-doping analyses of insulins. Siham has great expertise in synthetic chemistry as well as good skills and knowledge of analytical chemistry methods.
