Biography
Shreya leads the high-level management of the Hub’s activities, a UK-wide knowledge exchange and coordination Hub for adaptation to climate change, funded by the UK’s Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs (DEFRA) and UK Research and Innovation (UKRI) to coalesce the skills and expertise needed from across relevant sectors to aid the development and implementation of climate change adaptation in the UK, ensuring monitoring and evaluating the activities, robust governance structures and compliance with reporting requirements. She ensures effective coordination among Hub partners, support decision-making processes, and leads a professional services team to deliver on operational and governance priorities. Her role also includes contributing to the Hub’s governance frameworks and promoting career development and equality, diversity, and inclusion (EDI) initiatives.
Shreya joins King's from Save the Children UK where she was Programme Development Manager, specializing in developing and evaluating impactful proposals for children's programs internationally, especially nature-based solutions.
She has extensive experience in sustainability evaluation and youth health initiatives across India, Africa and the UK with organisations such as Decathlon, Pathfinder International, AXA XL, and Institute of Development Studies (IDS) UK.
As the co-founder of Lending Hands Strategic, an India based social impact consultancy firm, she connects nonprofits and corporates for social impact in India and holds 8 years of work experience. Shreya holds a Master's in Development Studies from the Institute of Development Studies (IDS) UK and enjoys exploring cuisines/cafes.
