Biography

Shaila Pal is the Director & a Supervising Solicitor at King’s Legal Clinic. Shaila practiced for a number years as a legal aid solicitor specialising in refugee, human trafficking and public law. Shaila trained at civil liberties firm, Deighton Guedalla and then worked for a number of not for profit organisations, including Refugee Migrant Justice and Hammersmith and Fulham Law Centre. Shaila then worked as a Lecturer and Module leader for Immigration Law and Clinical Legal Education in professional legal education on LPC and LLM programmes. Shaila chairs the Pro bono and Corporate Social Responsibility Committee for Westminster and Holborn Law Society.

Shaila is committed to promoting access to justice and developing initiatives which support local, global and vulnerable communities and provide students with a transformative educational experience.
