
Biography
Saadia Aslam received her medical degree from Keele University (UK) and is currently training in cardiology with a sub-specialist focus on advanced cardiac imaging. Her research at the University of Leicester investigated sociodemographic disparities in the management of aortic stenosis and identified imaging biomarkers to predict symptom onset and adverse outcomes. Her work aimed to support a precision medicine approach to management of aortic stenosis.
In addition to her clinical and academic pursuits, Saadia serves as the Digital/Web Lead for the British Heart Valve Society Council, to promote innovative digital initiatives in valve disease research and clinical practice.
