Biography
Rushikesh is a GMP Production Scientist at the Gene Therapy and Vector Facility (GTVF) on the Denmark Hill Campus. As the downstream lead, he oversees the completion and validation of downstream production processes for manufacturing adeno-associated virus (AAV) formulations. Rushikesh earned his master’s degree in Biotechnology, Bioprocessing, and Business Management from the University of Warwick, and his bachelor’s degree in Biotechnology from Fergusson College, Pune, India. Following his master’s degree, he worked for a cell and gene therapy CDMO. His research interests include the application of bioprocessing in healthcare and agriculture.
