Biography
Paul Seed moved into medical research after a career teaching mathematics and statistics at secondary level and pre-University; qualified with an MSc in medical statistics from the London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine in 1991; and since then has worked at KCL, first in the Department of Primary Care & Public Health Sciences (with which he maintains a link), and since 2000 in Women & Children's Health.
Main research interests: sample size & study design composite screening and diagnostic tests analysis of growth data comparison of measurement techniques post-partum haemorrhage preeclampsia obstetric cholestasis diet and pregnancy fetal growth.
