Paul Labbett is the Director of Research Grants and Contracts, the Division in the Research Management & Innovation Directorate that handles all administrative aspects of the university’s externally-funded research portfolio, as well as its institutional consultancy activity.

Paul has a long career in research administration and previously worked at Imperial College. He has also been a frequent presenter at Knowledge Exchange UK, (formerly PraxisAuril) giving training sessions on contractual matters and intellectual property in a university research context.

Paul has also participated in the EU’s TEMPUS/TACIS programme in Ukraine to help bring awareness of ways to develop and support third stream activities in the country.
