Biography

I am a Postdoctoral Computational Biology Researcher/Bioinformatician at Guy's Cancer Centre, King's College London. I am based in the laboratories of clinician scientists Dr Irshad and Dr Patten, where I lead the computational immunology and bioinformatics research.

My research encompasses the use of data science, computational modelling and bioinformatics approaches to patient stratification for improved immune-oncology treatments, particularly in the context of Breast Cancer, Follicular Lymphoma and Chronic Lymphocytic Leukaemia. More specifically, I work on immunological and molecular profiling (CyTOF, single-cell RNA-seq, spatial imaging, multi-omics etc) from patient samples to derive mechanistic insights for predictive modelling and patient stratification.

Previously, I was a postdoctoral researcher at the WIMM, University of Oxford and before that, I undertook my DPhil in Molecular and Cellular Medicine at the University of Oxford.

Lymphoma Biology

We are interested in the tumour microenvironment of lymphoproliferative disorders, especially that of chronic lymphocytic leukaemia (CLL) and related low grade lymphomas.
