Biography
Omid Mazdak joined the King's Business School as a Lecturer in Economics in August 2020. His teaching includes Statistics for Economists, Advanced Mathematics for Economists and Microeconomics.
Prior to joining King's College, Omid was a lecturer in Statistics, Mathematics and Econometrics at University College London and SOAS, University of London.
Omid has substantial industry experience, as a consultant economist for HM Revenue and Customs, Department for International Development and The United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD).
Omid's research interests include time series econometrics, with application to the commodities sector, namely energy and agricultural commodities. Omid is also interested in political economy and economic method, with application to land economy.
