Biography
Olivia obtained her MPharm from the University of Strathclyde, Glasgow in 2019. This was followed by a pre-registration year at Raigmore Hospital, Inverness, and a subsequent 6-month post as a clinical pharmacist. Olivia is currently pursuing a PhD investigating the impact of single, double and triple gene knockouts on the virulence of Candida albicans, using CRISPR technologies. Her research aims to determine which fungal proteins are the most important factors in disease pathogenesis.
