Biography
Oleg Glebov joined the Department of Old Age Psychiatry in 2018, bringing expertise in advanced light microscopy to study synaptic dysregulation in human neurodegenerative disorders. Before this, he was a Research Associate at the Wolfson Centre for Age-Related Diseases and MRC Centre for Developmental Neurobiology, studying the structure and function of the neuronal synapse. Prior to joining King’s College London, he was a Research Assistant at the MRC Centre for Synaptic Plasticity in Bristol. He holds a PhD from the University of Cambridge. Over the years, he has been the recipient of London Law Trust Fellowship for Medical Research, Beit Memorial Fellowship for Medical Research and Junior Research Fellowship at Trinity College Cambridge.
