Biography

Nicola Parsons is the Undergraduate Programme Manager in the Department of Informatics,  at King's College London. Nicola is responsible for the day-to-day delivery, long-term planning and strategic development of administrative support for undergraduate programmes in the Department. This includes:

  • Leading the Education Team in the Department of Informatics
  • Managing the Undergraduate Senior Programme Officer and supporting the Undergraduate Programme Officers
  • Provision of administrative processes for all teaching and assessment tasks
  • Management and co-ordination of undergraduate assessment within the student lifecycle, ensuring processes are completed in line with College regulations and guidelines
  • Programme and module development
  • Enhancing student feedback mechanisms and student experience
  • Supporting the implementation of innovations in the Informatics undergraduate programmes
  • Supporting teaching and learning objectives by assisting the Head of Education with programme and module development and approval, quality assurance and accreditation
  • Secretary to the Department Education Committee (DEC)
