Biography
I obtained my BSc in Biochemistry, MSc in Genetics and Genomics and MSc in Drug Development, Research and Control at the University of Barcelona. Throughout these years I did different internships in the Dr. Cristian Cañestro & Dr. Ricard Albalat group (University of Barcelona), Dr. Berta Alsina group (Pompeu Fabra University) and both Dr. Marta Barenys and Dr. Marisa Garcia groups (University of Barcelona). More recently I did my PhD studies at the Medical University of Vienna in the group of Dr. Michael Fischer. Currently, I am working on evaluating the role of titin variants in the development of cardiomyopathies by characterizing their effect on iPSC-derived cardiomyocytes.
