Biography
Dr Ibrahim trained as a physician and scientist in Immunology at University College London and Imperial College Schools of Medicine, before joining King’s in 2001. Since then he has created two new outpatient-based clinical allergy and primary immunodeficiency (PID) services for adults. The PID service sees patients from across south east England. He is Director of King’s Health Partners (KHP) Diagnostic Immunology Laboratory and has overseen expansion and improvements since taking up this role in 2004.
Dr Ibrahim's strategic programme of research aims to use his knowledge of immunology and dendritic cells to design rational and novel immunotherapies. His clinical and scientific expertise is recognised nationally and internationally - he has lectured and delivered research presentations internationally, and he reviews submissions to journals and grants for national and international bodies.
