Biography
Mark leads a team responsible for the ongoing management and enhancement of our research information systems to ensure process efficiencies and the consistency, completeness and accuracy of all research-relevant data. The team also supports the development and implementation of new research information systems, delivers standardised research reports and provides system training and support.
Mark joined King’s in 1998, following five years as a scientific researcher at Birkbeck College, where he was using NMR spectroscopy to study the structural and function of various protein molecules. His early career at King’s was in the IT department, before joining RMID in 2013.
Mark holds a PhD in Biochemistry and a BSc in Chemistry, both from the University of East Anglia.
