Biography
Prior to joining King’s College’s War Studies Department, Magid had earned his MSc degree in International Public Policy (with Honours) from University College London and his BA in Political Science and Middle East Studies (Hons) from McGill University in Montreal, Canada.
Magid’s research is centred around the structure of political regimes and the quality of governance in divided societies, with a particular focus on Lebanon. He is also a member of the MENA Research Group within King's Institute of Middle Eastern Studies (IMES). He is fluent in Arabic, English, and French.
