Biography
Luis Moliner Cachazo is a PhD student in the London NERC DTP, based at the Department of Geography at King's, the Natural History Museum of London and University College London (UCL).
He has a particular interest in taxonomy and ecology of aquatic macroinvertebrates, as well as the impact of climate change and human activities on freshwaters. His research focuses on the diversity of macroinvertebrates in the Okavango Delta (Botswana), with particular focus on non-biting midges (Diptera: Chironomidae).
Before moving to King's, Luis worked as a Research Assistant and Technician in several institutions in the UK, including UCL, Imperial College and Freshwater Habitats Trust (Oxford). He holds a Licenciate degree in Biology (BSc + MSc) and MSc in Environmental Restoration and Management from the University of Barcelona.
