Biography

Lucia Rampazzo received an MSc in Molecular and Cell Biology from the University of Bologna and a PhD in Cancer Biology from the University of Oxford. In 2022, she joined Dr Graeme Hewitt’s group at King’s College London as a postdoctoral Research Associate funded by Cancer Research UK - RadNet City of London. Lucia's current work aims to maximise radiotherapy and radiosensitizer drugs combined therapy. Lucia is interested in identifying the genetic backgrounds that lead to radiosensitivity and radioresistance in cancer cells and understanding the molecular mechanisms that lead to these phenotypes.
