Biography
Louis is a postgraduate researcher in the Department of Physics at King's College London.
Louis completed his undergraduate and masters at the University of Sussex with the Ion Quantum technologies group. He made the switch to Biophysics as there is an ethical incentive in using physics techniques to further our understanding of fundamental Biology. Working in Biophysics is both interesting and challenging for Louis, largely due to its multidisciplinary nature of bridging Physics, Chemistry and Biology.
Research interests:
- Fluorescence lifetime imaging
- Light-sheet microscopy
- Cell imaging
Thesis title: Time-correlated single photon-based light-sheet fluorescence lifetime imaging microscopy
PhD supervisor: Professor Klaus Suhling
