Biography
Liang Bai is a Senior Lecturer in Economics at King's Business School. Previously he was a Lecturer in Economics at the University of Edinburgh. His research interests include development economics, economic history, political economy, and international trade. In recent work, Liang has studied the consumer welfare implications of US-China trade, as well as the obstacles to optimal investment in numerous international development contexts.
His work has been published in journals including American Economic Review: Insights and the Review of Economics and Statistics. Liang holds a PhD in Economics from the University of California at Berkeley, and an MSc in Econometrics and Mathematical Economics from the London School of Economics.
