Biography
Liam joined King's Faculty of Nursing, Midwifery & Palliative Care as a Lecturer in Advanced Clinical Practice in 2023.
Liam has been a qualified nurse since 2004 working in Cardiology throughout his career. He has worked in a number of roles on Coronary Care Units from newly qualified nurse to ward manager. He has also had a role as a Clinical Practice Facilitator and numerous Clinical Nurse Specialist roles in Arrhythmia, Inherited Arrhythmia and Inherited Cardiac Conditions. Most recently Liam was lead nurse for an Inherited Cardiac Conditions service in London.
Liam achieved his MSc in Advanced Practice at King's and for his dissertation conducted research entitled 'The lived experiences patients undergoing screening for a potentially inherited cardiac condition following the sudden cardiac death of a first degree relative'.
