Dr Leanne Gardner
Senior Clinical Trial Manager
Biography
I am a dedicated Senior Clinical Trial Manager with 20 years experience working in clinical research and over 9 years experience of running multi-centre UK-based NIHR funded trials in academia and the NHS. Over the past 6 years I have specialised in Renal Transplantation and Dialysis clinical trials here at King's College London. I have 3 years experience in smoking cessation/community-based/complex interventional trials. In addition, I have 7 years experience in Allergy and Asthma clinical research and have worked on a number of projects focusing on Alzheimer’s Disease. Having a PhD in Immunology (Allergy and Asthma) and experience in laboratory-based studies gives me the scientific know how, knowledge and problem solving skills required to effectively manage and interact with researchers, clinicians and nurses. Promotion of these relationship and working together results in successful completion of these clinical trials.
