Biography
I am the Deputy Director for the UK Dementia Research Institute at King's College London and a van Geest Professor of Neurodegeneration. I am recognised as an expert in the cell biology of Alzheimer’s disease, and I specifically focus on the cellular and molecular underpinnings of amyloid formation and synapse loss that characterize Alzheimer’s. My lab uses both cell and systems biology approaches, with our aim being to disentangle the complexity of the disease process.
