Biography

Laura Kor is a PhD student in the Department of Geography, King's College London, the Royal Botanic Gardens Kew, and University College London (UCL).

She is interested in applying interdisciplinary ecological and social approaches for biodiversity conservation and sustainable development. Her research focuses on the protection of useful plant species in Colombia.

Before joining King's, Laura worked as an ecological consultant for a global engineering and development consultancy. She holds a BSc in Biology and MSc in Ecological Management from Imperial College London.
