Biography

Kate Anning is a second year Trainee Clinical Psychologist at the Institute of Psychiatry, Psychology and Neuroscience (IoPPN) carrying out her Doctoral research in the Neurodevelopment, Epilepsy, Support & Trajectories (NEST) Lab run by Dr Charlotte Tye.

She is studying the relations between emotion regulation development, neurodiverse traits and mental health in children living with Tuberous Sclerosis Complex.

Prior to Clinical Psychology training, Kate completed a PhD at Cardiff University, studying self-regulation skills in 4-7 year old children with cognitive, emotional and behavioural challenges at school.
