Biography
Jonathan Turner obtained a BDS in 1989 from UMDS (United Medical and Dental Schools of Guy’s and St Thomas’) and LDSRCS in 1990. In 1997 he completed an MSc in Prosthetic Dentistry and in 2010 an MA in Education, specialising in leadership and management. He undertook a PhD titled “An investigation of progression of King’s College London undergraduates through their dental programme and students’ perception of factors affecting their progression” which was awarded in 2018.
Jonathan has worked in General Dental Practice and as a Senior Dental Officer for the Community Dental Service. He has worked as a Clinical Teacher at King’s College London since 1997.
Jonathan is currently a Reader in Clinical Education and has been the Director of Admissions for Dentistry at KCL since September 2017.
